I hear you love keeping up with style and fashion belt, but you also like to be unique and wear handcrafted accessories and jewelry. Well, I have a new way to keep your pants up or to add a unique style to a pair of your favorite pants by simply making a waist belt out of a man's tie. Sounds
silly I know, but wearing a belt made from a man's shirt tie is unique and fashionable, and will defiantly make your friends say wow.

Making a belt out of a man's tie is fairly easy and only takes a matter of minutes to put together. All you need is adhesive Velcro from you local craft place, a man's shirt tie from any clothing department store, a ruler, and some scissors.

The first step to making this tie is fairly simple. All you need to do is take the men's shirt tie and lay it flat on the table, but on the side that would usually be facing inward towards a shirt, or as many would call it the back side of the tie. Once you have the tie faced backwards lying flat on the table, you should then have two ends to the tie, one end being wide and the other end of the tie being skinny.

Then your second step once you have the men's tie flat out on the table and you know what ends are what, you can take your adhesive Velcro which will mostly like have two strips attacked together in a long strip that you will have to separate from each other. Reason being is the Velcro will be packaged together with the two sticky sides sticking together like Velcro on a pair of Velcro sneakers. Once you have separate the Velcro strips from each other, you will then want to take your ruler and measure out 2 pieces of 3 inches of adhesive Velcro with one piece begin the sticky Velcro and the other piece being the non sticky Velcro.
